The disease COVID-19 (Corona Virus) will remain in strength till the time Rahu and Ketu are in Ardra and Moola nakshatras respectively alongside Saturn in Capricorn. Remember that Saturn is the cause of all diseases and Rahu defined the kind of the disease and was also the trigger. Rahu moves to Mrigashira nakshatra after third week of May 2020. Sun, the significator of vitality and well-being enters Aries on 14 April. We can expect to see an overall improvement in the situation for a month.
In this context, one short but noteworthy transit is the transit of Mercury in the debilitated sign of Pisces till 25 April 2020. Its impact on mundane level coincides so accurately with the timeline of COVID-19. Mercury debilitation shows we may find ourselves at our wit’s end to tackle a situation or to apply common sense. Business, trade, commerce, career growth, education and investment related matters will also be at their lowest. Things will gradually change for better after 17 April 2020 when Mercury crosses its deep debilitation. When Mercury comes out of Pisces and moves to action oriented and bold Aries on 25 April 2020, its energy will prompt us to speak our mind, communicate our thoughts more aggressively and infuse more energy in business, commerce, education sector and most importantly in healing (by virtue of being in Ashwini nakshatra).
Here is one more positive aspect, and that is transit of Venus to its own sign of Taurus till 31 July 2020. When we talk about Venus, we think about luxury and comfort, but Venus is also for healing. Shukracharya was known for Mritsanjeevani Mantra, the knowledge of bringing dead alive. Therefore my interpretation is when Venus is powerful in Taurus, the remedy will also come during this time.
The new Vikram Samvatsar 2077 (Hindu year that is being counted from the time of King Vikramaditya II) begins on 25 March 2020. The name of this Samvatsar is ‘Pramadi’. The Samvatsar is sarting in Shatabhisha nakshatra, a nakshatra owned by Rahu. In this Samvatsar, ‘Rasesh’ (which signifies the rain fall, moisture) is Saturn this year. It denotes among all other things, due to irregularities or lack of monsoon, there would be propagation of some diseases that will be around for a long time and will be difficult to eradicate. There will also be waterborne diseases. Therefore in my analysis I find even though there may be some breakthrough in tackling Corona Virus, it may relapse or some other kind of Virus may get activated to impact the world, particularly the northern hemisphere. This can be very intense when Saturn transits retrograde between 11 May and 28 September 2020.
