June 2020 is a very eventful month from astrological point of view. We have four planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus and Mercury retrograde and both lunar and solar eclipses taking place this month. June is no doubt the most challenging and confusing month of 2020. Let us see how June 2020 is going to unfold for all of you. This is a generalist overview; the actual results will vary as per your own birth chart and the dasha / antardasha that you are going through.
Let me first give you all a snapshot of planetary movements of June. I shall write about the effects of these movements.
As you can see a lot is happening in the sky in June 2020 and the second half of June 2020 is going to be quite unsettling.

This time the lunar eclipse on 5 June is going to be penumbral and in vedic astrology this lunar eclipse is not counted very impactful for individual Rashis. However, since it is happening in its debilitated sign of Scorpio, it will create some upheavals in everyone’s sentiments and emotional well-being.
Sun is transiting from Taurus to Gemini on June 15, 2020 and on 21 June there will be an annular solar eclipse in Gemini. The solar eclipse on 21 June exudes full impact for next 3 to 6 months. Since most of the major planets are retrograde during this solar eclipse, the result will relate to settling or clearing past karmic burden for all of us. Gemini, Sagittarius and Virgo will be most impacted sign-wise. The solar eclipse is involving two nakshatras, Ardra and Mrigashira. Therefore people having moon or ascendant on these two nakshatras will be greatly impacted too. Mars will be aspecting the eclipse and all planets placed in Gemini from 18 June. Therefore, this solar eclipse may trigger agitation and violence as well. It may also prompt some unpleasant events impacting world peace. This is also getting support from four retrograde planets. There may be sudden and repeated natural and geophysical calamities and further spread of infectious diseases. Therefore it is important to take care of health.
In general this solar will give beneficial results for Aries, Leo, Virgo and Capricorn. Taurus, Libra, Sagittarius and Aquarius will get mixed results. However, it will not be great for Gemini, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.
The time between 18 June and 25 June when all 4 planets are retrograde, and the solar eclipse is also taking place, there will be a lot of tension and confusion all over the world. It will be difficult to understand what is true and what is not. The financial situation all over the world may tumble down further. Time from 18 June to the end of the month is also shaky for economy because both Jupiter and Mercury will be retrograde and Mercury will get combust from 21 June.
With retrograde Venus combust in Taurus, the most adversely affected signs are Taurus, Libra, Gemini, Virgo, Capricorn and Aquarius. You may feel that there is a lot of workload on you but no reward in sight. The love relationships will also go through a patchy phase. Do not take any major decision related to finance, relations, home and renovation.
On the other hand Aries, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius and Pisces will get some relief from the malefic results that they have been getting since Venus retrogression started in May 2020.
Mercury Retrogression and combustion in general affects our intellect, thought process, communication and decision making ability adversely. It is better that you defer any decision on signing contracts, medical treatment, a new job offer or a project. If you have a job offer, that may get stalled or get withdrawn during retrogression and combustion period i.e. 21 June onwards. Your travel arrangements can get rescheduled. You also need to be extra careful about reading the fine print of any documents to avoid misunderstandings later. With Mercury going retrograde and then combust the most impacted moon signs are Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius.
Jupiter and Saturn remain retrograde together in Capricorn the entire month; you cannot expect any change in the impact of these two planets from last month. Hard work, low financial gain and distorted view of knowledge and wisdom predominate our lives. It would be better if you can modify yourselves for a minimalist and disciplined life. The important event here is Jupiter’s move back to Sagittarius on the last day of the month. I shall discuss the effects of Retrograde Jupiter in Sagittarius in July.
As far as the job retention and prospects are concerned, Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius and Aquarius need to be careful.
Well, this month is not all doom and gloom; there are a couple of silver linings as well. Firstly, Venus is going direct on June 25, 2020. This will be the first sign of release from the intense retrograde and combust energy that has been disrupting and reshaping our lives so long. Venus will also to be free from any malefic aspect. This is a good sign indeed for overall finances, relationships and general well-being. Although Venus alone will not be able to pull us out of the difficult situation, at least there will be one less planet adding to the misery.
Secondly, in the fag end of May 2020, Mercury had broken off from the Rahu-Ketu axis permanently breaking the suffocating effect of Rahu and Ketu which caused all the grief and misery worldwide. Although Mercury will be retrograde for some time now, it still is out of the axis and ensures better times when it starts moving direct in July.
There will be no overall change in the results that Rahu and Ketu have been giving. However, the destructive energy of Rahu has reduced a lot since it moved to Mrigashira. Rahu with retrograde Jupiter and Saturn may help to uncover some secret.
Predictions for all 12 signs
Now coming to the predictions for all 12 signs. In general this month is not really great for anyone, however, Aries, Leo, Capricorn may see some better times regarding earning and profession.
Taurus, Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Aquarius need to be extra careful this month.
