October 2020 Vedic Horoscope

In October 2020, we have two planets in full glory, Jupiter and Saturn.
Two planets crossing Gandanta, Ketu and Mars.
And two planets in debilitation, Sun and Venus.
Mars goes back to the natural 12th house in Pisces in retrograde motion on 4 October. It crosses Aries-Pisces Gandanta between 26 September and 7 October.
Mercury stays in Libra for the whole month and gets retrograde on 14 October.
Sun moves to its debilitation sign Libra on 17 October and Venus moves to the natural 6th house, to its debilitation sign in Virgo on 23 October.
Rahu is in Taurus and Ketu is in Scorpio, crossing Jyestha nakshatra Gandanta.

Therefore if we consider the overall movement, we can see that this month, Jupiter and Saturn are powerful, Mercury placed comfortably and not combust; but 6th, 8th and 12th houses of the natural chart are getting activated in not so positive way. The good part is difficult energy of Ketu’s transit through Gandanta will get settled by 12 October, Mars’ Gandanta will be over by 7 October and Saturn’s stationary phase will be over by 5 October.

Over all there will be unsettling energies making ripples the entire month, the second half being more off balanced. General well-being, healing and finance will get adversely impacted. Rise in conflicts due to false ego and impulsive actions can be seen. Enemies, diseases will get aggravated after the third week. The second half will produce challenging time for the authorities. There can be some unexpected events impacting people at large. There is one thing that is very beautiful this month and it is kind of symbolic of how our life should be; Dharma and Karma i.e. Jupiter and Saturn are providing powerful anchoring support to our lives if we chose to be righteous and stick to our path of selfless karma. When these two pillars of life are strong, it becomes much easier to tide over the obstacles created by retrogression, debilitation, gandata etc.
