Today went through your latest post which was very concise and informative with regard to Dashas or Gochar calculations based on Moon Signs, Ascendants and other aspects in one’s chart. Just want to share that in one astrology book I came to know based on Moon signs there are other older methods for Dasha calculation like Nisargayu and amshayu other than the easiest of the three which is the Vimshottari dasha system. Would like to know from your good-self if these older methods are still used apart from the Vimshottari dasha system?

Hello Gopikrishna, thanks for your comment. There are several Vimshottari dashas itself. However, as per the the sages and ancient learned Jyotishis the Vimshottari Dasha as we use it is the most befitting one for Kali Yuga. Therefore the focus is on it.
